Popular Yoruba actress Folake Shadare Atie has joined the league of actresses who are proud owners of a classic boutique located in the down town.

In the bid to meet the 2012 deadline for digital transition from analogue by the broadcast stations across the country, the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, and the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, on Thursday disclosed that the focus of this year’s NFC annual training and capacity building workshop otherwise, known as SHOOT, would empower and equip motion picture practitioners, broadcasters, and professionals in the creative industry for the tasks ahead.

Ghollywood pardons Yvonne Nelson

There are strong indications that sensational actress, Yvonne Nelson, (who was banned in November last year from featuring in any movie in Ghana by that country’s Film Regulatory Council) may have been pardoned.

She was banned following complains of rudeness, disrespect raised against her by one of the country’s movie producers, Abdul Sallam Mumuni, CEO of Venus Films Productions towards fellow actresses, producers and crew members on location and even when off-camera.
